Dr. Michael Switzer, Interventional Radiologist and Medical director for Comprehensive Integrated Care in Gilbert, AZ, grew up in South Portland, Maine. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Switzer attended the University of Minnesota medical school. He then completed an internship in general surgery followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Following residency, he completed a clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School and a clinical and research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then returned to Maricopa Medical Center where he served as section chief of interventional and vascular radiology before joining Comprehensive Integrated Care.
