Kevin Duwe, MD is a board certified interventional radiologist with more than 23 years of experience. Dr. Duwe uses image-guided technology to diagnose and treat peripheral arterial disease (PAD.) “Many people think that symptoms of leg pain when they walk or feelings of numbness in their feet are just normal signs of aging”, explains Dr. Duwe. These and other symptoms of PAD can lead to amputation if ignored. The life expectancy of an amputation is less than that following breast cancer or lymphoma. Dr. Duwe is dedicated to providing patients with the timely diagnosis and treatment that reduces the impact PAD can have on their quality and quantity of life.

PAD is a circulation disorder that causes poor blood flow to your legs and feet. The condition causes pain, cramping, and wounds that won’t heal. Dr. Duwe uses state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and treat PAD and other vascular conditions that many patients don’t take seriously enough. He is dedicated to increasing awareness and providing minimally invasive treatments to the patients who need them.

Dr. Duwe completed medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His interests include dialysis access maintenance, peripheral vascular disease, low dose lung CT screening, breast tomosynthesis, interventional oncology, vertebroplasty, venous thrombolysis, embolization, endoluminal stent grafts, and pain management.
